Torrefaction Reactor System Outputs

Our proprietary torrefaction reactor production line can create combinations of four key products; high energy content torrefied pellets, biochar, activated carbon, and utilizing the ancillary syngas, we can power reciprocating gas engines for the direct production and local sale of green electricity.


By using the syngas, which is released from the biomass during the torrefaction process, we are able to power engines for the direct production and local sale of "green electricity." Green Electricity must be derived from environmentally friendly sources, utilize renewable energy and carry out carbon offsetting. We do all three.


Torrefied pellets are the result of our proprietary torrefaction reactor technology that converts bio mass into a bio coal with a much better fuel quality for combustion and gasification applications. Pellets are lighter, drier and more stable in storage.


Biochar is also a by-product of our torrefaction reactor technology and is excellent as a soil amendment for the agriculture industries. Biochar can help increase soil fertility, agricultural productivity, and protect against some soil-borne diseases. It may also help mitigate climate change by producing negative carbon dioxide emissions.


Activated carbon is yet another by-product of our torrefaction reactor and is on the World Health Organization's List of Essential Medicines. Activated carbon is processed to have small pores that increase the surface area available for absorption—thus it is also the product of choice for the growing water filtration industry.
